Can I change plans later?
Anytime, from the billing page. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate; downgrades apply at the end of the period. You're never locked in — cancel whenever you like.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing you set up is deleted. Monitors, servers and anything else over the new plan's limits are paused, not removed, and spring back exactly as they were when you upgrade again. History is kept for your plan's window, and older data is deleted nightly, 30 days after a downgrade.
What's the difference between uptime monitors and server agents?
Uptime monitors are outside-in checks of a URL, port, DNS record, or host (HTTP/TCP/DNS/ICMP, plus multi-step checks on Pro and up), with SSL expiry tracked on every HTTPS monitor. Server agents are a lightweight program you install on a box to report CPU, memory, disk, network, Docker containers, and (if you opt in) ZFS, SMART and UPS health. They're independent quotas: a “25/5” plan is 25 monitors AND 5 agents, not a shared pool. Heartbeats, vendor dependencies and domains each have their own allowance too.
Do you meter per host, per check, or per seat?
No. Pricing is flat: the monitor and server-agent counts on each plan are the only limits, and check frequency is set by your plan's interval — there are no usage overages or surprise line items.
How does the free plan work?

Can I connect an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes, on every paid plan. Ensju has a built-in MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-capable assistant can answer questions like "is anything down" or "which server is low on disk" using your own Ensju sign-in. Access is read-only and included from Homelab up; the Free plan does not include it.
